Plugin marketplace

WordPress comes with a plugin marketplace, which you can find on the sidebar navigation menu, by clicking on Plugins, and “Add new”. 

Plugins have their restrictions too. Sometimes, they work better or worse depending on your theme, and some need to interact better with other plugins. When two plugins have compatibility and they can work together, this is called integration.

So, for instance, you are creating an e-commerce website for your bakery. You downloaded a plugin X that enables you to sell your products. But you also want the ability to send custom emails to your customers who have purchased specific products. For this, you found an email marketing plugin.

You should go to this plugin’s website and check under the Integrations page, which usually plugin websites have. And you just noticed that, yes, this email marketing plugin integrates with your plugin X. It’s all good.

Next step, you should check which integrations are available and how they work. Ideally, the website will list those details too.
