Blocks

You can picture a page in WordPress as a set of blocks.

You can stack blocks on top of each other; make them stick to the sides, to the top, or to the bottom of your page; or you can even add blocks inside of certain blocks.

This is the Gutenberg Editor, WordPress’s native content builder, introduced in version 5.

Blocks

There are other plugins and themes that have their own page builders, replacing entirely the Gutenberg editor.

The most famous ones are Beaver Builder, Elementor, and Divi. Additionally, there are themes and plugins that add new features (blocks) to WordPress’s native builder.
